If you want to visit Malta, you have a number of options at your disposal for places to sleep: hostels, guest houses, self-catering flats, holiday complexes and hotels. If you visit the country during the less visited season, you can even get a smaller price from most hotels.

If you want to live in a youth hostel, there are five options at your disposal. One of them is on the Gozo island and the rest on the island of Malta.
Hotels In Valletta
There are two main hotels that I can recommend if you want to stay in the capital of Malta, Valletta: Osborne Hotel and Phoenicia Malta.
Initially an inn, the Osborne Hotel is in a building made in the 1500’s, for the Knights of Malta to live in. If you want a quiet area, this hotel might be just what you’re looking for. It’s located in the historical area of the city, so it’s very close to a lot of views.
As for Phoenicia Malta is a very prestigious hotel, which sits in the middle of 7 acres of gardens. It’s quite close to a number of historical places and it’s located near the walls of the ancient Valletta.
